Re: Re: Kabu
I don't think that any one should ever get upset with what you say. Sometimes our friends may not understand an English phrase is all...We in Australia have kept very close to our English humour. Perhaps it was all those 10 quid Poms that migrated last century and mostly became as Aussie as Merino wool and Meat Pies in a twinkle of the eye.

Sweet of you to visit with your friend to cheer him up a bit. I don't know how much you would enjoy it but I am sure there are ladies in your area who would love to have a thing going on with you. You could write about their little skirmishes over not being the only one. Probability is that there are these ladies and you just play the gentleman and keep it to yourself not telling us about your personal shenanigans. We love your work and you.

Re: adnohr
Well adnohr, one must not give the illusion of sanity or one might be believed to be a bit odd.

It's a pity they have to lock churches nowadays - I expect many could find peace sitting in a quiet church. Parrots perching on buttons? What is in that cherry juice?

re ,re Ray
When the small or growing tomatoes are deprived of enough moisture or watered infrequently they will develop blossom end rot . It is not a disease. Once Ray I knew a man he worked in those days near a sewage farm, this was spread on the rubbish dump in various ways . He used to bring home the most succulent tomatoes. Tomato seeds evidently enjoyed their journey through the digestive tract. I heard they were succulent. Hock away with you, well I heard a Scotsman say something like that

Re:
Sam it would be a bit difficult to finalise a romance although some one sends me love and kisses occasionally, I think my dour expression probably. It does help to be able to cuddle someone in ones imagination so tighten your bra straps. Oh dear should I delete this? I blame the cherries OH! dear it is getting worse.

Re: Kabu
You are the wise woman Kabu. We keep forgetting there will always be tomorrow.Psst I am always afraid I may upset some with a remark that hits a nerve, you know chewing the fat, but it is the way we oldies communicate in a non aggressive loving way

Re: Re: Ray.:)
I have Scottish roots too on my Father's side, so I probably should try them, lol..Sorry 'bout the tomatoes, my poor plants have contracted something called blossom end rot which makes the t.'s inedible. Hopefully the next set of blooms will be healthy. A neighbor brought me over some big, perfect beefsteaks that she found at a roadside stand nearby and they are delicious!

Re: Ray.:)
They love it in Scotland Ray straight into the sissling fat like a piece of fish, the planet is pretty deep fried unfortunately. Is anything perfect. Just to tell you it is so cold here and dull that the tomatoes in the greenhouse don''t appear to be growing.

That's my thought too, all this reading and writing will fend of Alz. I've got the aches and pains too but Kabu keeps me working on Panadol too. Great poem, I can relate to that so cook me a Mars Bar as Kabu has just explained to me what they are.

Feeling blue ain't the same as all-out depression...
And the things we do to lift ourselves out of it should make us blush at times. I really enjoyed this poem - even more than usual - it's something I relate to. I hope your friend is feeling happier and more mellow now, and that you and he can enjoy a nice chat. :)

the flower, the journal and the poem about Ms Grey....well your post has
certainly cheered me up ....Wiley and I agree with you that Blogit keeps our minds alert. It is a great exercise to write everyday and reading is fun commenting a challenge. Your Comments are often as good as the post that i read!!!! medication taken every day thank you. and as for outside tasks. I set myself a Summer task as opposed to daily task so that when tired I can stop for I have almost completed this years allotted landscaping. i know I am slowing up and this way I don't hit myself ove the head with a dead cod fish when I fall behind.

I hope you are able to cheer him up! You are so right that we have more time than we think when we take on a project, but the need to see it through puts more pressure on us than necessary! And I doubt we will ever learn! At first I thought you might be interested in someone in your poem but it's just a case of your usual cleverness in poetic form! Well done, too! sam
