I take it you didnt like the all star game, I always heard the team that is ahead on the 4th of July will be in the world series, dont know if that is a fact or not

You lost me on this one too. I watch the games now & then, but know nothing about the rules of the AllStar part. As you say - it doesn't seem to make much sense seing it is supposed to be all star.

"Home Advantage" -- that sounds so good when referring to things other than sports. It makes me feel so badly for those that are so disadvantaged as to not have a home at all.

I so agree with you on this one! And, that's why I am glad that Justin Verlander went with his gut and gave the fans what they wanted to see, his 100mph fastball! He said they didn't come to see him him throw it 90mph! It didn't bode well for him because he needs to ease into the speed over the course of the game! I still maintain the right fielder should not have allowed the ball to go over his head! They all needed to play a little deeper when he is in that frame of mind! It seems to me the best record gets home field advantage and it should go back to that format! sam
