I think you handled that admirably - the 'why thing' can get pretty annoying! But while annoying in kids, it is positively insufferable in adults, where I have encountered it on occasion ...

Summer, not while such a bright little fellow is going to find ingenious ways to get your attentions. Nice way to keep the house clean though. Love his dear little face in that picture.

Nothing like turning the table on him so to speak! I remember a youngster that lived in a complex that I did a few years ago and he was right up there with the 'why' thing too! I wish I would have done what you did because it went on day after day after... He is such a handsome youngster, too! sam
