Good girl! Daughters usually do have a way with their dads, but as Naut commented, she'll make a good lawyer. Happy things are coming together for the boys. My kids won't have much to do either.

All this must be very difficult and draining emotionally to all concerned, and I admire your daughter's determination to deal with what had to be dealt with. She'll make a good lawyer...

Good for those marvels of caring you raised luv. Yup, all my arrangements are made, cremation, Mass- (I won't mind being in church for that) and we even had a new stone made to add to the one there for Joyce, so we'll be 3 together.

LOL...the banter between you and CC is a read in itself...and you sound so

up beat about the family situation. I am happy and relieved for you.

Re the end of life stuff, Wiley and I have it all sorted. No fuss, cremation and all in the one place. My kids won't have to worry about a thing, not even have to lose a day going to a funeral.

I have to laugh at your comment, because it's the kind of bass-ackward humor we use in our family - I think it comes from the Brit/Irish part of the bloodline... And to answer your question, no I probably won't shout. On the outside I'll look like Granny Cookie-baker, but on the inside I'll be Clint Eastwood thinking, "Okay punk. Make my day."
