Pat

Your Mom obviously knew the language and used it creatively, much like her daughter, LOL...

My mom never said those things that your mother did, but she had a list of her own, most of which I don't know how to spell because they were in Czech.  But I definitely knew what they meant.

Re: adnohr -- heard from your daughter yet?

Indirectly. She talked to her brothers, said she was home, relaxing with one glass of wine before she hits the books. I doubt she's looked at her email yet. :)

My mom had some pretty spicy ones - she was a barmaid most of her life. Heard from your daughter yet?

OH Dear Pat I shall have to call in the Morris dancers, don't like doing it but my rain dance is not working only here. We have more floods and storms on the way. Interesting your Mama's saying I suggest she might have heard her Ma say them first. Maybe not. The old village folks were full of sayings, but of course to be ockerd I can't think of one only It's a buggerooter. Or you'll poke that fire too often. Well it 's cold enough for a walking stick. It be an overcoat warmer today. Or rather appropriate today, I don't mind how high I go as long as I've got one foot on the ground.

My mum used to have sayings like that, "You're half baked child, " LOL and others but I loved your mother's about hell. LOL God Bless your ex and I shall pray he goes in peace. Thank you for your always uplifting comment to my post, much love to you from us.

it is real dry here too and as I water each day in my garden,

I can see Wiley trying to hide his anxiety that I will run the well dry. I don't think that is possible but I am torn between his anxiety and my garden.

I am sorry about the old fulla, let's pray that a little chemical help does the trick.

Mama had some great sayings and a saucy mouth it seems.
