Well usually I shy away from trouble but then today my emotions got the better of me and I post my anger over something so now I'll delete it. Peace and love.

Hmmmm....I think I've missed a few things around here. I also think I'm glad I missed a few things around here. This is the sort of thing that makes me want to do something else besides spend time at Blogit.

Re: Re: Re:
She was innocent when she started here, Sam; no political issues or insults, prejudice or hatred. I am sorry that happened to you, she was definitely wrong to treat you in such a manner! I must have been on one of my breaks from this place; can't remember it. But the bullying that started almost immediately against her was also wrong and was the ugliest thing I've seen here - and I've been slammed too on several occasions...You had defenders and so have I, but she had hardly anyone defending her right to be here. Not saying that makes what she did right but it doesn't excuse the behavior of others who had no reason beside pure prejudice.

Re: Re:
I thought as much! In my humble opinion she was far from innocent in this matter! She teamed with another blogger who wrote an incredibly nasty blog about me simply because he did not agree with my opnion/comment at another blog. The woman you referenced wanted me to be taken down mightily and was extremely upset when members of Blogit came to my defense soley to support my right to my own opinion! She also made an increduous statement saying I supported her when it fact that was not the case! I simply said if the soldier did in fact do that (point his gun at a child) he should be reprimanded to the fullest extent of military law in Israel! sam

Re:
I believe she was pushed to her limit and began lashing back with images of the realities she witnessed, Sam. We e mailed for awhile and she didn't hold extremist views, she simply wanted to post her poetry and enjoy interacting; sharing her pain was a part of that but not in a harsh, ugly way. Not until she was baited and bullied into doing things I also feel shouldn't have been presented here. I watched the bullying in action; it was real and uncalled for, no reason for it whatsoever!

I was wondering if this is the same woman who spammed comment pages with photos that appeared to be photo shopped regarding the atrocities against children who are in the middle of armed conflicts! I specifically recall one that had an Israeli soldier pointing a gun at a child less than 5 years old? sam

How sad Ray, I suppose she should have just blocked them. I would not have believed it if you had not said it happened

That's really a shame, and I guess these antics can be chalked up to what is now being dubbed as "cyber bullying." And cyber space has made it easy for cretins such as these to operate, because you just know that they wouldn't have been able to pull off such stunts face to face, especially since that woman would have probably garnered more allies than those two morons. I know I would have been on her side . . .
