The kitty is very cute, and so is Marie, I'm sure, LOL. And no, I don't think you can change instinct, but I do believe you can shape behavior, especially in young animal. I'm trying to do it with Ben at the moment, which is definitely more difficult because he's 8, and unfortunately was never properly trained...

It is nice to see that the house is filling up.

Well you seem to make the best of most things anhdor and the girl , well she is like a little kitten. To think most girls start off like that,I think. Well; they used too.

Some people like a "full house," some people prefer their solitude. I'm glad the full house makes you happy! And as for your new tenant . . . looks like a cutie, and a keeper!

This is a very sweet post. Yes I truly hope the door is never left open the least bit.

I am betting that it is not possible to change the instincts...I know Mr.

Graysome can't help himself wanting to imagine catching those little critters......Good luck with the girlie, it seems as though she is going to be very quiet.

I wonder if instinct can be changed, but somehow I doubt it! You are a very kind person to be so accepting but we do what we do for those we love and that makes all the difference! I like the fact that someone is there with you though! sam

Dora must be short for adorable.

I hope your new tenants come to love it there - and that Smooch does not mistake the kitten for a squirrel. It's going to be lively for you out there in the bush. Great, isn't it...
