I must have it wrong...Can't see his name anywhere! I used to watch it with my kids into their teens and beyond. There was a time when we could recite half the words, knew all the songs...like the Rocky Horror show......

Re:Thanks, Lion
Like all big things I can't contol, it scared me, and I thought of a use for that strange warning on the right side mirror.

Re: Jay
Some of them are models of safety and courtesy, but the cowboys can make you crazy.

Wow! I didn't think so, but you may be right. Let's google it. Just the other night I caught the Bob's Bunker episode by accident and laughed all over again What a pair!

I think that Spielberg's early works especially were wonders. Wasn't the Blues Brothers his?

Re:safety first
I just got out of his way, CC, and watched him boom on out ahead. I passed him later on a grade. When we reached the summit and the other side, I just stayed away. The worst are the weaving little cars who see it as a kind of game.

Ever see that old black and white film Duel? About a diesel trucker who tailgates the driver of a small car, for no reason trying to kill him. I think Dennis Weaver was the motorist (you never saw the truck driver) and Steven Spielberg directed it. Hair-raising.

Re: few words
This had been a 3-stanza poem. The trick was throwing out the other two.
