You are so right that Nature does not give a damn! I hope you get great news from the doctor! And, the weeds are such a bane! They have been invading my place, too! sam

Re:Kabu

Are you sure Kabu, but then I suppose they do have owners to fret and position them.    I would not trust them too much when it comes to emotions I think they have night sweats.

Re Pat

Pat.  Well it is growing weather except for the tomatoes and peppers etc. Anyway I feel the heat is rather oppressive from the blogs and we all start complaining here when it becomes too hot. Hope you are better.

It's true, one can only write from one's own heart, experiences, feelings, thoughts.  Poetry allows us to mask those personal things and change them into something beautiful or ugly, sensual or terrifying, spiritual or natural, but the core is of ourselves.

I'm happy you've gone to the doc and hope you get problems resolved.Yes I have noticed one's poetry has to do with the poet mostly.I'm glad I don't get that power that pulls the senses out through raindrops my friend. Have a peace filled weekend CC

The idea of a two-day gentle rain is SO appealing right now

in the crusty brown drought we're roasting in. Let the weeds grow, you can trample them when you pick the berries, turn the weeds into mulch. Funny how drought-resistant they are, come to think of it.

"Yesterday's commitment shines like a cold wet pavement

and leads in the wrong direction."  Oh, CC, how that line resonates.

Oh to be a Gnome, they seldom have our problems of growing old

of heart ache of self doubt. No they never suffer self doubt.

I've noticed that poems "...are queries regarding oneself..." as well...The weather imagery adds a lot to the poem.
