We all need human touch. Animals help a lot but we all not touch and holding at times. It is not sexual, it is a Spiritual thing and I used to teach it to my Nursing students.
Sadly as we age, young people find us repulsive to hold close not realizing that we have the same needs as what they have.

Such a deep and human post both in the short message at the top and the poem. All people need to be held for the joy of knowing you and they are valuable at the moment. This is the wonderful part of our ministry both for us and for those we serve be they in jail, rehab or nursing home. We hug them and they hug us and it is a moment of human value. The rose is beautiful.
I loved the poem, so very much. I can only tell you than it needs no explanation, perfect and a joyous, kind and sad adieu.
