The speaker did the best one could, I feel...I have had decisions that I wondered were right. Eventually though I do come to a conclusion.

Re Pat
Yes Pat hindsight as we say. It all looks so easy now. Even picking flowers is not as easy as it one was,

Re: shobana
Shobana

The veil that I would cast over pretty shoulders unfortunately breaks into segments before one could bite into a Cherry Tart.

Awesome flowers and poetry, CCT!

Hesitating to look deeper and to ponder more fully is always wise, but getting heavily mired in doubt is the risk, I suppose. Ah well, maybe I'm just over thinking..:)

Re:SAm
WEll Sam it might sound like sacrilege, but there are some good artificial lawn materials available or as most people do here now is have an area of shingle instead lawn. As to irrigation well it depends on what you pay for water I think trickle irrigation is fairly cheap as long as one can turn it off, raised beds have one disadvantage I have a large one, they dry out quickly. Probably your idea of mixing in manure in the Autumn or well rotted vegetable matter would be very helpful. Nice to plan though, half the fun.

This poem is a summation of a conversation I had with Mik tonight! I was over to his house bragging about the horseshoe tournament on the 4th and it wasn't long until we were talking about air conditioning, 94F will do that, lol, and then to gardening and lawns. Mainly about how foolish it is to have grass in the desert, boggles my mind. I was talking about using native, drought resistant plants for a front yard. He liked the idea of growing a garden in the front yard. Then I was telling him that I was trying to find the most cost effective means to irrigate the raised beds I hoped to have one day in the back yard! Also, to plant a seed for him to help his 'momma'! LOL! So, the poem is about the decision for me and will I know if I made the right one. I keep looking into it because if it is $1,000, there will be no way I could handle that kind of expense to irrigate water! Alas, I will know what I can do when I get the yard and measure it as well as have the layout in mind! I loved this poem, too! It's awesome when a poem touches one so movingly! sam

I love the flowers. And such a heart felt poem one so many take both parts of too fast or too slow. Be blessed dear one.

I've asked that very question, whether hesitation was a good idea...
And I have to admit some of the times I jumped with both feet led to unforeseen problems. Darned if you do, darned if you don't. The flowers are so nicely arranged.
