Re: Re: Re: JimmyA

Thanks, TAPS. I'll give it a try. I'm not on Facebook myself, but my wife is. Either way, I'll experiment and see what I can come up with. Thanks again.

Re: Re: JimmyA

Do you happen to be on Facebook?  It's easy to post your photos there and once you have an image on Facebook, all you have to do is right click on it, copy and then paste it on your Blogit post.  If you are not on Facebook, start an album at www.photobucket.com and use that for putting them on Blogit.

Re: JimmyA

Thanks, Wiley. I would love to share some of these images and get opinions and feedback from everybody, but I guess it's confession time . . . I have no idea how to post pics on Blogit! Any hints?

Re:

Dang it indeed, Sam! Like I wrote, although the second painting was very nice, the first one was just so much better! I should have taken a picture if it, had I known!

OH MY! That was indeed a heart breaker! I thought at first you weren't going to be able to fix it but you did and he was pleased so it worked out well in the end! It would have been great to have seen it in the original though! Dang the luck at times! sam

Re:

Sure, Utah. I understand. On occasion, you like to throw caution to the wind. Somewhat risky, and yet commendable. However, every once in a while, it does pay to take a little peak first! Ya never know . . . !

Re: Sounds like a most exciting venture, well done! Oh a shame about that

It was, Kabu. And like I wrote, one of the most exciting aspects was going around town and seeing my artwork on the backs of people just about everywhere. And yes, that jacket's owner was very pleased with the final product . . . and still does not know about the other version beneath it! I will look for pictures . . .

Re:

Yes indeed, Eleanor, we are a breed in and of ourselves! Believe it or not, I may actually be able to scare up a picture or two of some of these works. A project for another day I'm afraid!

Re:

Yes it was, FSI. In fact, one such jacket made its way into the hands of none other than Mr. Ozzy Osbourne. I painted a jacket for someone of the cover of Ozzy's first album. They then proceeded to throw it to him during one of his concerts, and he disappeared back stage with it! Where it is now, I couldn't even guess! My artwork, in the hands of the Prince of Darkness himself! Now that's a story . . . !

Sounds like a most exciting venture, well done! Oh a shame about that

beautiful jacket with the upside down picture and only you know how it should look.  the owner I am sure was very happy with what they got. I too would love to see some of your work.

Your post put a smile on my face. This is what we, the artists, have to go through to achieve our level of perfection. But it's interesting though that you've done some jacket-shirt-painting. I'd love to see some pictures of it if there's any :).

A great example of a famous saying in action...That's pretty cool how you were painting different album covers and the like on clothing.
