S The last poem offers an alternative to tell if snails return to the garden. If you see eaten petals and chewed plants they did sir. Of course gardens go from dust to dust. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Yes they are a bit crunchy between a lettuce leaf, one thing snails are more noticeable

Snails and slugs are deeply territorial and will always return... I have given up and bought slug pelets after losing too many plants.

I will tell my neighbor to stop throwing his snails over here and I will stop throwing them over there and will just keep our own. They have almost destroyed my beans this year.

Re: Justi
No Justi they are a rather a nuisance but easier to pick up than slugs. I does not matter what one grows something is always prepared to have a nibble

I had a snail climb up the wall against which my plant stood CC and it creeped me out. I love the touch of the rose and could feel it in your poem. I checked amazon.com on my book and it retailed for a price lower than what my marketing consultant said I should price it for and am glad it is such - you are right being new, the price matters. Thank you CC.

I do not like snails. A neighbor called many many years ago to tell me she could see a little light going about the ground level of my house and wondered if I was okay. I looked and my boys had a salt shaker looking for snails to salt. I loved the flower and poems not snails. Be blessed my friend.

Chiff.Chaff.
I only know them as 'escargot', very, very tasty not to be hidden or left jumping fences,or painted white.

We love the cautionary tale of the white-dotted traveling snail
and the warning, "try not to rush, but watch out for the breakfasting thrush."
Did the neighbor ever inquire as to whether it's just in this shire
that snails can jump fences? It seems that's where the story commences.

It's been a long time since I have seen a snail...Seeing the flower reminds me that it is that wonderful time of the year seasonally.

love the flower today just beautiful.
Snails I do not like them slippery slimy little suckers. Don't get them here. Used to find millions of them in Sydney. I used to collect them and toss them onto the road. Wheels squish them real flat
. I have aphids here...note to self, time to plant garlic.
