Re:

Sweetie I am happy for you and hope you make millions I note it is on the book shelves in Australia. I am logging in to get my Kindle version and Arthur will have to read it out to me

as I have my massage by Big Annie Apple-shape.

CCT

- Maybe your lady friend owns older breastplates (bras?). She could give them to you. They might help the garden as plant protectors. Or have fun sir. Lol. BC-A, Bill’ R®st

clever poem, I like the perspective on the combat.

You gave plants away?  WOW, I wouldn't do that for anyone but close friends...

I dont why you need to feel grumpy and get into the combat zone CC!! I mean the ammunition being a woman is totally uncalled for!! Gosh CC - thanks so much for your wishes. I am really happy to have a book released and the auditors are at my beck and call already..LOL.

Re:

Thank you Taps, well I don't want anything as I like doing it, but it just seems funny to put them out and never see anyone

What a fun read was your combat.

I can't imagine people taking your flowers and plants without giving you something in return.  I would not only smile and thank you but I would find some little gift to give you.  What careless people.

Chiff.Chaff.

You ought to turn into that mean 'sharpshooter in jeans' and let those ungrateful souls know that 'there is no charge if they say thank you' . Leave a wee note with the next flowers.

I enjoyed reading about your early experience with plants...That "hand to hand combat" is at times best be avoided.

Half a dozen home-baked cookies or a cupcake or two

would be a nice thank you for such lovely flowers. Even so, it was lovely of you to set them out for others to enjoy.

As for the battle of the sexes, it cannot be won. Too much fraternalization. :)

Ungrateful Gits. You would think that at least one person would bring you a

little thank you gift or pop a card in your letter box. What you do every year is really special and I bet that they talk to their friends about your kindnest  but they forget to thank the gifter.
