I feel like the poor dog is frozen in the pointing position until whenever you write again to let him relax.

To be continued? What, oh what could that poor doggie have been pointing at? The plot thickens . . .

It is interesting to read of how Ben responds to the environment.

Naut
This was a lovely post. It brought back a lot of memories for me. I began hunting at age six... well I went along. My father owned and trained Llewellyn setters. They are long haired and he favored liver spotted over the black and white. He expected complete obedience and he insisted on a kind and friendly association with his dogs. Watching a good hunting dog is a form of art itself.

I'm waiting patiently to find out what he wanted.
What he wanted that you no doubt considered thoughtfully, if not while laughing about it, and weighed carefully how life would be if you decided no.

They must of had some birds there as they often do at the Pet Smart here, or a little French poodle walked bye. I can hardly wait for this one.

A rubber bone, no a rabbit that squeaks, if it is a white rat I hope that you talked him out of that idea,
