Yes, Bradbury's passing was sad. He was one of the immortals in the sci-fi world!

I can't even imagine that "Hooray". Something's wrong with her. Or, maybe I just don't understand where she is coming from.

Well I don't know what to think Pat, if you like that friend, it will do you more harm than good.It may have been meant as a poor joke, no would think like that seriously and express that view would they? I sound like a defence lawyer , perhaps you could be cold towards her for a little while, that is what I would probably do.

I had not known of that author but I'm always sorry when talent dies whether I knew of them or not.I have met 'friends' like that mean person that said that to such a loving friend as your own good self.

what a horrid thing to write and i would defriend that person as well.
And she has been published....when.......It takes enormous talent and dedication to become published and all are admired by me, whether I would enjoy their writing or no!

Pat
Sorry, but your 'friend' is a fool, and a rather unpleasant one at that...

Ouch! Even if she didn't like his books, there is no reason to rejoice over anyone dying! You may just be better off unfriending her, or staying friends and attempting to educate her?
