I must admit that on some of your longer posts I do circle with my reading and sometimes when I do this, no, when I do that I miss a few things, but when the reference used is "they" or "them" the reference is pointing to a group, is it not? And if it is, I simply cannot condemn a whole "they" or "them" simply because "they" live in the fifth century. I can say however, that because "they" view me as an infidel, and that all infidel's must join or die, that I do nor trust "them" or their group.

Hi Naut, I agree that many just don't want to get into the crux of the matter in detail and just go along making astute observations in silence for the sake of peace and harmony. Much of my education was based on respecting the feelings of the individual races concerned and hence keeping my summaries or vocal attritubes in a tactful manner. But then again I am not really politically inclined and have survived thus far..

Fortunately the Quebec revolution only had one publized murder before people started to pay attention (and we're not even sure that one was political!). As you say, it indirectly fostered the questioning of the church's power - and the molestation of children completed the job. The Arab culture is living through constant murders, molestations...and worse, everyday. I suppose even those educated keep their heads in fear down instead of speaking out.

I enjoy it when you answer comments in the body of your post. You really
are the prof. LOL. I get a bit nostalgic to be back squirming as I read the remarks because my beautifully written paper completely missed the subject matter that my Tutor was looking for. LOL....well maybe not as nostalgic after all.
