Looking back:
It is good sometimes. To see how far we've come or what road we took back then. I was just thinking about that not long ago that I needed to look back and read some of mine. I came through many hard times with God's help.

And I bet sometimes you smile at what you have written. I think every episode written down augurs a clarity on those events.

This post of yours makes me think of how much I enjoyed watching Prince Charles laughing at himself while watching old family movies that were just released to the public viewing.

Depending on how far back you go, I guess it could be interesting to read past blogs, and the various comments. Yes, kind of a blend between a photo album and a journal. Words, thoughts, opinions and statements forever etched in time!

Kabu is right - it's one of the reasons that diaries are so much fun. Here in Journal, many of us can do look back any given time and see what we were thinking 'then'.

Surely my young friend, and you write so well I like to look back
sometimes as well. And when you are old like me, you will be able to read back and see how interesting your life has been and all the things that you did.
