- Go to Triumph over Adversity -- material for writers
It never ceases to amaze me how people can have the same interest (such as writing) and yet go in so many different directions and come up with stuff I would never dream of.

I'm sure something is gonna pop out of these meetings some day, although I can't help thinking that your writing is going on quite well without them...

Because of reading you and your friendship I have ordered Writer's Digest again to help me keep writing and also have even submitted a poem for $1000.00 prize money. Well, that is nonsense to think any poetry of mine could win actual greenbacks, but then I will be back here telling you about my loss anyway so that's still writing.

no matter where our writing ends up or how much time we have to
scribble, we are compelled to write. but isn't it a blessing to be retired and have the time to write and write and write.....if we are in the mood.

So many problems Pat and yet they are filled with the passion to to express something that will appeal to others.I have to be quick it is thundering here and I am alert for lightening. I'll just say there appears to be more drama in your meetings than one could collect in a cocked hat.
