Hi .. I hope you had good luck with the Blackberry Jam. It's been years since I've made my own. Grandma used to make Damson Jam.

Chiff.Chaff.

Just goes to show ya that I do read comments to comments from time to time and I even make comments to my posts more often than not.

The important thing is I read people even if I don't understand what they are saying a lot of the time, just because we 'hit it off' as the saying goes. I am simply grateful to even waking up still. LOL Kabu and I both send you our love for you as a person.

I just planted the rest of my tomatoes today. I need them to ripen about the same time that the local chilies do so I can put up some salsa next fall. I hope your rain has come and given earth a drink over there by the time you read this.

Re: Chiff.Chaff.

Yes Wiley And this brand I am using does not stain the cup, that's what I don't like a bout coffee  I just remembered you don't read comments, but if the missus is about I would tell her it is the packet that has the monkey on the side PG tips granules I have tried other makes but this is the best so far I think and the monkey will give you your money back if you disagree.

Re: Pat

Pat, Arthur likes me too grow the small medium size ones and I try to keep a few plants going over Winter , it is a struggle I only managed one last year and took two cuttings of it which I hope to get seed for next year, sounds complicated but the varieties keep changing. He pops them in bags in the buff.

Re: Taps

Re Taps perhaps it was disjointed, that is how I felt after cutting grass with a heavy strimmer. I can always throw it in the bin

Re: BI

HI BI I am going to throw  a couple of buckets over water over them in a minute or two, it is only 6:00 am and your jam jar reminded me I have jam to make from frozen blackberries. A woman's work is never done.

Re: adnohr

Adnohr what a shame I could give you what looks like a girls stocking some one had tossed it over my fence, perhaps I will hang it over the fence it keeps squeaking, a bit lonely I expect. Thank you for that snapshot.

When I was a child (and still now sometimes) my imagination would give everything, living or not, a name and a character. I can remember feeling sorry for my woolen socks, whose toes and heels were worn to holes, as I watched my grandmother slit them and begin to pull the yarn apart. Poor Arnie One and Arnie Two!! My grandma, knowing me well, hurried to assure me that they would be nice and comfy as the stuffing for a cushion now that they were no longer useful as socks. Your poem took me right back to those feelings. I love that the child in you is still so alive!

Hi .. I do hope you have rain soon and that your strawberries survive. We are ahving storms again tonight. Thanks for the beautiful flower picture, I smiled at the beauty!

I took an afternoon nap and when I awoke, I think my head stayed asleep.  Somehow I couldn't quite get with your poem today.  It seemed disjointed, but I think it was probably my head that was disjointed.  I think I shall go have a cup of tea and maybe try it again after.

I find that a lot of places are experiencing droughts. I wonder if it will continue through summer...The last line there really struck me.

I used to have good luck with tomatoes. Even made my own sauce

and froze a whole winter's supply of it once. Funny thing here, when one's got tomatoes everybody does, and they keep giving them to you. :)

Now this one was special. I loved the little ol' tomato lady. You can do another one on the deflowered bags with there certain sadness, of course. ha ha. I say the store should take the money we pay them which includes paying for those bags and keep their yap out of how long we want to use one of them, of well just my thought on that.

I can recall getting melancholy at having to change things I liked.  But then the new one can grow on you in most cases.  Too bad about the strawberries.  And the little knowledge issue has been a bad one for me with several losses, but that can be life at times, Good Point.

Chiff.Chaff.

I must have a go with that 'instant tea' idea of yours, tea bags are messy, When I was a boy my mother used the tea leaves of course with her being a Brit, and she was marvelous at reading the leaves and telling us tales. LOL
