no matter what one feels about war, one should always respect the soldier
who fought for his country who fought for a cause. I am trying all my life to be a pacifist, yet I am never uncomfortable with remembering the brave souls who died in wars or who came home changed forever. We should remember them.

Anyone who feels "uncomfortable" in honoring fallen soldiers has absolutely no concept of patriotism, and could be considered a bit of an ingrate. These men have given up so much and put their lives on the line everyday for their countrymen back home. A little appreciation can go a long way!
