Cast away those thoughts and just embrace yourself and be happy! For me that's what's most important! Just find your comfort zone and build on that! I have done it for all of my life and have been very satisfied! sam

lustorlove....
I think it is a human trait to desire to feel appreciated and singled out at times as #1 in the eyes of those we love. ♥ My children hurt me at times and I know they do not mean to. I admit I get my feelings hurt too easily.

“Afflictive emotions - our jealousy, anger, hatred, fear ,need to be number one,- can be put to an end. When you realize that these emotions are only temporary, that they always pass on like clouds in the sky, you also realize they can ultimately be abandoned.” (Dalai Lama1935)

Everyone is special and unique. I think it may be time to count your blessings, and take pride in yourself and your accomplishments and abilities. Strive to be the best you can be in all things, and don't think of it as a competition with anyone else. Enjoy being you!

Lustor
Did you ever think it is wonderful to be able to be loved and appreciated without having to constantly work to be ahead of all the others. Perhaps you are in a much better spot than you recognize. Maybe you should not always be available to do all things for all your children. Take care of you. Get out and do things for and about you. Only you can make yourself special. You are special but you put yourself last taking care of every problem your children have. Get a life of your own and they will readily see how really special you truly are. I think you are special and very unique.

You are special. Did you ever stop to think that perhaps your daughter might really be in what seems like competition with you because she thinks you are great and she might feel inferior to you?

of course you are NUmber one. your kids adore you even if they boss you
sometimes. They know that you are always there for them... number one.
AND you are going to have the number one garden in that park before too long.
