¸ When I gardened they imposed water restrictions and my towmn added an ordinance against bird feeding. Earlier in the history of the united States when there was a frontier the people in government knew the elements. People were closer to the elements then and had faith sir. BC–A, Bill’s R®st

I imagine it must be a pain to carry that water around...Escaping (mentally and physically) is something that most if not all can relate to, I am sure.

I love the poem - your perspective is an interesting one. It sounds like you have a lot of gardening taken on, but keeping busy will keep you hale

Goodness Pat I don't think I could stand training for that long. A yoke would be handy.

The only way to free yourself from the worries over strawberries is to stop planting the, as I did. I now leave it to those who have looked after their strawberry fields forever...
And your poem is another delicately erotic masterpiece...

ÿ Better scene than me emptying water from Mrs. Sun’s furnace. For myself I also prefer the big carnations. You might wish that you could explore sir. BC-A, Bill’s R®st

Chiff.Chaff.
Well all I can say is as beautiful as your flowers are, you have to stop hauling 4 gallon jugs of water around and fixing fences and the like or you'll beat Archie to the pearly gates my friend.

my barrels are full of wrigglers so I should empty them on the garden
I would tell you to take life easy but you won't but I have taken my meds and am nice and calm. Love your flower, I think I may have one flower soon. It looked like it may last year but didn't so ????

Appropriate poem, CCT. Sylphs are supposed to create clouds, are they not? And clouds could mean rain to fill those barrels....which in turn would save you much hauling of buckets. The words you employed give the poem sensuality if one reads it in another way. Well done!

Out here in the arid west we have water restrictions from time to time, but they have never restricted hoses, they just alot us certain days in which we can water. It does make me feel for one such as you who loves the garden so. I enjoyed the poetry today. You may have let her slip by, only to have us readers capture such beauty.

The water buckets count as strength training, the walks back
to refill count as cardio. You'll keep that heart beating strongly for another hundred years at this rate.
