I avoid people who think that way. I would possibly burn that book.

I know you can change your own attitude a bit by talking to yourself about the good things, but no book, no attitude, will turn horse manure into a box of chocolates.

I didn't read that book, but I think the mosquitos here did....and they're thinking very positive on the amount of blood they will take from me the minute I walk in the bush....

Well Naut I tried thinking I don't need glasses and fell down the stairs but fortunately I thought I have not broken my leg and only broke my toe, so I am an inbetweener.

I think there are too many gullible people out there in TV land.  After she (Rhonda Byrne) appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show, she made her fame and fortune ($300 million by 2009) selling her books.   People gave her their money for what they hoped was a sure-fire self-help to make them rich.  Instead they made her rich.  Personally, I make it a point to never read self-help books.

Positive thinking is fine if you are always a grump, but real power it is not. One has to make decisions for themselves and if this is anyones mantra so be it, it is not mine.

Those are some interesting lines of thinking. What really intrigued me was the idea about how the water within us responds.
