At least you have a start. As long as you're not stopping any of the progress, it doesn't matter how long you'd take, that little area will become a wonderful scene. Keep up the work!

It is indeed a start and I think taking it slowly will make all the difference! I saw the brick with the holes filled with soil! I have always thought of doing something like that because I wanted to plant annual in the sections! When I saw yours I couldn't but think how great different colored alyssum would look planted there because it would grow together and form an enclosed area to accentuate your potted plant! Sorry to ramble but I like the possibility you have going for you! sam

good for you darling. I am proud of you. My garden will NEVER be finished
that is the fun. every day from Spring to Fall, I can pop out and dig and lanscape, dream and plant.
I have bought lots of decor second hand, picked up from junk sales and the dollar stores. My fairy lights for the night time are solar lights and three of them change colour from red, green, blue. None of my lights cost more than $10.00 and two were under $5.oo and they are so pretty when it gets dark. You will have so much fun and slow is good.
