Sorry time got upset but you don't have to suffer any pain from your daughter after all you do for your kids.Far as I'm concerned you're one of folks CNN is looking for, a hero mom so you jusy relax and take it easy and be proud and happy for yourself. We love ya Kabu and me.

I guess it was because she had cooked the dinner and expected me to be there to eat it, but anyother day I would of had to wait for it to be done

A contractor or repair person who claims to be coming at a certain time, and then is either very late, or a no-show, is nothing new or unusual. But sometimes allowances need to be made, and it sounds as though your daughter needs to be a tad more flexible.

I guess that my family is just a lot more easy going on foiled plans. If something falls through, we just do our own thing. No one ever stews if someone backs out or is late.

I think your daughter is a control freak! It's okay for her to be delayed but not you! I think I would start eating and home and find some friends to hang out with and let her be on her own for a spell! At the very least until she shows some respect for you; to make you feel as though you are being punished is just as wrong as it comes! She needs a taste of the real world and you should see to it that she gets it no matter how much you love her! She hasn't been all that thankful for the things you have done for her and I find that to be unsettling! She is used to you doing what meets her needs but she is not returning anything to you, not even respect! Take a motherly stand and be firm, it's for her own good, too! Just my humble thoughts! sam

It may be a bit co-dependant to need to have dinner together daily and allow such episodes to happen. Eating together occassionally is one thing but daily, I wonder.

I would just follow my stomach. If your hungry then eat and tell her you couldn't wait any longer. You both had good reason and IMHO there should not be blame placed on either of you.
