- Go to Queen of the Office: off with their heads
I love it! The Office Queen at the Air Force Procurement Office was Ethelmae Dirge. I'll never forget her even though it was circa 1960. She painted her long fingernails with a coat of iodine under her red nail polish to make them strong. Then to intimidate you she would stare at you while she drummed her strong fingernails on her desk, or yours, to get her point across.

I really enjoyed this read. somewhere between the Queen and the Lazy
heir would have been a good work place perhaps. So well written i was terrified of the old gal.

I know it was ghastly, but it kept many a small business floating until the on-come of the jolly old computer. There must have been millions of those Queens, and Kings in their own little castles. I remember two men in a Drapers shop they positivity turned
rigid when the old man came into the shop, although one married his daughter.

LOL! But you know what? I would love to have a Miss Frances Jean organize my study for me - she'd even scare me out of my bad stapling habits...
