Math and science were my favored areas.  I went through the history books, memorized and passed with high marks with little intent on keeping in long term memory.  I do recall some works of great philosophers and works on truth.

With later studies in psychology and conflict resolution, I learned how belief systems lead to personal and interpersonal conflict.  I enjoyed the reading and your detailed writing style.

that same questions can be asked of ANY religious figure

Buddha, Moses, Abraham, Jesus.

It is only the works of their followers that proclaim their reality.

Nautikos

No Christmas? Mon dieu!!! Even Mo loved getting presents at Christmas. Some one gave him a Bible once but he said his book will really hook people in. Superman came before him anyways.

As a history major I enjoyed reading this detailed history. We can learn a lot from well-researched history essays, papers, books, etc.

How very sad. I too have read on the beginnings of Islam. It is sad that great minds educated in our modern times cannot understand what they cannot place into a cubicle and analyze. If people who are really educated were also able to explore those things that are considered beneath them they would see the truth you are dancing all around here but do not have it at all. If one really understands the Bible you would find the writings thousands of years before the theft by Bib Mo you would understand that this is explicitly covered already. This is the same Serpent as that in the garden. This is dangerous stuff to toy with if you know the difference and if you do not know the difference you are already in danger.

I love and respect you Mr. Nautikos but I know my subject very well and this is way off base on Judaism and Christianity.
