I was reading this post without wearing my glasses until I read "...“It’s generally an Islamist direction, but not all in one channel,” .... as "It's generally an islamist direction, but not all on one camel."  That sounded a little wierd to me so I put my glasses on and read it again.

Well reading news anywhere, but even more so in your focussed writings, there is no good place that Islam is going to leave untouched. I'm thinking that what will happen for real actually as the result of all the Islamic developments, is that all religion is going to be obliterated finally because people are beginning to see that none of it makes sense. I can't believe I said that but there you are,

Hmmm - yes. I have an Egyptian friend (Christian) who is saying the same thing. Her family is still there, and she's very worried.

It is very unsettling the things that are taking place and Washington is just mum on it all! sam
