Goodness.. He deserves credit for trying. He was probably frustrated and embarrased that he could not complete the chore. Did you all finally get to grill outside?

At least your SIL stuck with and make great progress! It's nice to have a father figure around but one can still learn a lot on there own as well! sam

Perhaps for certain things, but not necessarily for everything. My mom knew a lot about many things, and taught me stuff that my dad either didn't . . . or couldn't. Every family's circumstances are different, just as everyone's parents are different. That's just my opinion.
