You must be so relieved to get the lawn cut! I can only imagine what a job it was! Tall grass is a bear to get cut! I bet it looks gorgeous, too! We need rain in my desert or at the very least for my landlord to turn the sprinler system on! I do not have one of the special tools that is needed so I simply must wait him out! sam

Hi .. It's great that you grass is finally being cut. I have a childhood friend who still remembers coming to cut my grandmothers lawn and she feared he's be hurt with the push mower and handed him a pair of sheers while asking him to use caution because she needed them for other chores. He went home and got his own family mower.

Re: CCT
Well Bill I like the smell of freshly cut grass and moo cows, but I don't like chemicals. Sorry about the sinuses I once emptied a lot of bags of sawdust and I still remember that awful choking feeling that occurred afterwards.

Re:
Jay as a rule we have too much fruit and have to keep thinning it out.
I know Jay I am a bit of a rat bundling everything on one site, for you I will give a physiological answer, Firstly I pay for three sites as I wanted to post the occasional photo. Secondly I think there is reader fatigue and writer ditto when one has to contend with the same person more than once daily. I don't actually mind but I felt that some did. Thirdly I did not like the poetry section after a while, for another physiological reason
which is peculiar to myself I can assure you nothing to do with the quality of most of the writers and I follow your progress with interest. I am afraid Jay I am like so many others and cannot feel strongly about many things only the cruelty of human nature. One little thing that annoys me consistently is in your write up you have missed the R in first. So that is anther side of the equation. Be happy Jay,

I always hold my breath this time of year, but all of my trees made without any freeze.
I did enjoy the poetry as I could not remember it from the old days when you were posting in poetry as you should be, I think. I also think I post to often over there, I just haven't the discipline to shut me off.

I remember the poems and enjoyed them as much second time around as the first.

Re:
Mary is a naughty girl
You have made that quite plain
Something the future will unfurl
but I wish you would explain.
I don't suppose you would fancy a plate of chitterlings

Hail can be so annoying, and scary if you are in the car when it is pelting down on the glass in front of you. Hope your damage was minimal and that you can get your wash soon for your greenhouse.

Mary, Mary, once contrary,
how did your gardner grow?
By little wins and secret grins
and you do not need to know.
