I marvel at your productivity and also at the range of your poetic expression...

Re: Re:KABU...women do make sacrifices....and that makes husbands unhappy
because needs weren't met and so the circles go round. I expect you to understand.

Re: SAm
We had several inches of hail yesterday shredded the young cabbage plants and it looks like crop failure on some trees where the little fruits were snapped off. Archie called in to day to reasure me that he was up to it on the next dry day.

My lawn needs doing too... the one dry day we've had I was out and too busy to mow. Perhaps next weekend will be dry. Loved the poems

I agree that a bright flame should be true! I hope you get your lawn mowed today! We have had a lot of rain of late and my grass was getting high, too! It can be a miserable job when it gets tall! So, maybe Archie will learn a lesson when he has to go over it twice if he doesn't use a bag or the emptying of it if he does! In either case the taller the grass the more work there is to do! sam

Re: Pat
Thank you Pat, and was hoping you would say, have a rest. Although it did not rhyme I slipped in the three words, which I thought was rather clever, but then what would I know.

Oh Wiley she only says that to boost your ego. I'll give you a tip though always let the flowers do the talking. I would rather let you build me a racing car .

Re: BrightIrish
Well BI ironically we don't get paid for comments as you may read elsewhere. So don't worry. Talking of rain we had massive hailstones yesterday, I do hope it has not damaged the pinks that are coming into bud/ My lawn that is a matter of opinion, I will show the front in the next episode.

Re:KABU
Kabu Archie will have a shock when he comes. It will be a matter of pride for him to make a small deal out of it. Oh I see you have a few more needs than the normal male that is quite interesting, I always thought a woman made sacrifices.

Re: Taps
Taps we had a bit of thunderstorm yesterday afternoon and my broadband seemed out of action. Arthur blamed me for not dismantling the electrics. He fiddled about for about an hour and could not get any results. I thought at the time I wish I had a laptop at least I could get on line. Incidentally Arthur said we must to leave it until morning, when he had gone I turned the main switch off and put it back on and it was all right again. Arthur grumbled and said I should not have done that, I could have messed it all up.

Re: Justi
Justi my dear, I am sorting through poems that were on an old computer, many have been posted before, but probably have not been read by the elegant personnel who frequent this area and sometimes, I cannot remember them myself. Justi the kid is 63 this year and does a milk round, he will be here, but he will find it hard work now as the grass is quite high.

Re: Jay
Hello J a Y, try not to worry too much we just can't change the past and actually you have been through a traumatic time giving up the ciggy's and such. The past has a habit of rushing towards one sometimes, I guess we would all like to change it, but actually it probably could've been a lot worse. I am trying not to turn into a miserable old man, just take care and love what you have.

Oh how absolutely grand these are. You go through three and I can't get one with a whole lot of pull together. Tell the kid it is the day you choose, be here or be out of the job. These are wonderful poems it appears men know at least as much about us as we know about them, you show that. Be blessed my Blogit friend.

I've never thought of writing as "feeding my laptop." I like that. I think I will now that it is in my mind.

The little rotter better come on Wednesday and mow your lawn otherwise get the other lad or is that just to scare him into working.

Hi .. It baffles me that men complain about not understanding woman. Just as men we do not all think or feel the same
. The flower is again beautiful. Forgive my lack of comments .. I am trying to beat the incoming rain in the yard and deck ( I'm failing) and also giving the house a good cleaning. If all goes well then everything will be completed by the weeks end and the rest of spring and summer will be simple maintenance, Hope your lawn gets cut, as promised.

Chiff.Chaff.
Happy about Archie calling, do hope he shows up.
Poem by chumpet? Well quite entertaining, and the idea of exercise seems a jolly good idea, especially after you come out of the self-hypnosis.
No, I’m not watching any sports and have really enjoyed your making of a woman. You are quite wrong, I do understand women, Kabu says that all the time. Love the way you always have the flowers on hand to press into her hand you old rascal.

Archie is like my aunt. She often does not mow the lawn when she plans to or says that she will...I like the imagery a lot in the second poem.
