That seems quite insane. I have never heard about having to call in for a due date, that person you spoke to simply doesn't understand her job. I would call higher up, speak with a supervisor or manager and tell them about this person who has a broken elevator in her head, it doesn't reach the top floor. My goodness you are the most patient of all the patients you've ever had I am sure.

I am so frustrated for you reading this. How wonderful and calm you are to
endure this nonsense for so long. I am in awe. Why I almost had to take deep breaths and do some yoga just to read till the end.
