Your car and home need to be locked at all times. I live in a very small town with a vey low crime rate but I feel it is simply prudent to do my part, that is keep my doors locked.

your own and hey if tall dark and handsome is knocking one can always unlock a door real quick!

  It will take time for you to feel safe but you'll feel more and more secure as time passes.

I do that now, but there is no way to really lock my windows, in CA we had double locks

Lock your doors and windows girl.  That won't solve everything but it helps.

I noticed a lot of creaks and the like to when I first moved in. I got used to it quickly...Of course I have nosy neighbors, who watch the house. That helps a bit too.

I live in a very safe area but I always lock my doors; why invite trouble! Just do the things that make you feel safe and I believe the anxiety will abate over time! sam
