Hmm - thank you for answering that question, Naut. It is difficult to grasp that what we feel or think in some cases has absolutely no bearing on what is reality, or what science proves is so.

This reminds me of sci fi stories where astronauts don't age
as fast in space, and when they return to earth after 50 years or so they're only about ten years older. The trouble is, everyone they knew is elderly or deceased...
