I usually eat just one meal a day...It starts when I get out of bed.

I can't eat a big breakfast, never could. But I have improved.

It used to be a cigarette and black coffee. Well I gave up the cigarettes when I retired, so now it is black coffee and some time later cereal with fruit and 1% milk.

We eat lots of fruit , too much cheese and 4 small meals a day.

I myself make sure to have three meals a day and then a small snack at night.

I liked the example of how we should eat! I intend to remember it, too! I can't eat before bed mainly because I just don't like food in my stomach! sam

Yes, eating anything just before bedtime is not good for you. I had a friend years ago whose mother was French, and they believed in a small, healthy breakfast and a small healthy dinner, but their "big" meal of the day was actually midday. I believe the logic was, you would still have time to burn off any excess calories the rest of the day. Having a huge meal between 5-7, and then sitting on the couch watching TV and then going to bed a few hours later is why most of America is extremely overweight! Less is more, people!

If I could only follow these instructions dear...my I'm one decent meal a day,
that would be lunch...I dont eat breakfast coz of my daily routine I wake up late
sometimes nearly lunch...and I don't eat dinner which has become a habit since
ounger years. But I do eat something in between though. Thank you for sharing this.
