I'd have to readily admit that, no, I don't know anyone who actually likes their job! They like having a job, but not necessarily the one they are doing! It's a shame how some employers treat their employees.

I guess to some extent your right – employees are viewed as dispensable given there are so many people looking for work that would be more than happy to snatch up the job. Although I'm now retired I used to really enjoy my job and the people I worked with.

Life is hard. My daughter loves her job, she works really hard. She knows both sides of the coin and understands that when one grows up their whole day is not expected to be spent like it was in Wily Wonka Chocolate Shop.

I loved my work but then although I needed that pay cheque, I worked with
people because I love helping those who can't help themselves. And my staff had to work hard like beautiful daughter. Never enough staff for the amount of work that had to be done. I doubt whether she will find another company easier to work for. It is just hard work.

I find that a lot of businesses are indeed treating their employees unfairly...I know of a few who like their job (i.e. me, an electricianI know, plenty of teachers).

I know a few people who really like their jobs but they carry a degree and perhaps that makes the difference! My daughter likes her job but is not interested in cutting hair for the rest of her life and so she is pursuing a 4 year degree! I do know what you are saying in the service industry though, the owner makes the bucks! Greed does seem to be a prevalent theme these days on all levels! sam
