For some reason that makes me think of a picture that son sent me from Silver Dollar City per internet yesterday.  He had taken Grandson Phil for a little fun.  The picture was one taken of them riding the Log Ride in a particularly horrific part of the ride.  Son looked like he was having fun, but Phil looked like he thought he was done for.  Here is a tiny part of the picture for you.  (Poor Little Froggie Phil)

That was so sad and I'm sorry you will be missing the froggie serenade. Perhaps the fear of lightening is what killed them. Thanks for your visit to my blog luv.

A Froggie would a wooing go awoo..awoo!

I am making a sign that says danger ahead for your pond....could there be something toxic in the water?

Pat, well if that was it...

they died with smiles on their faces...but maybe it was an after-fear or after-shock from the storm...(just guessing - no frog expert here...)....

Goodness you soon give up on passionate creatures Pat. They would both have probably recovered from Spring fever, I think I would have placed them in a bucket of ice cubes.

How sad! So last night you heard his song for the last time - you happen to have any swans in your pond?

My wife had the same type of accompaniment with a pair of morning doves who barked and cooed in the early morning hours for quite a spell . . . until one day they were  simply gone. The silence was actually odd! It really felt like something was missing!
