interesting Star Wars tangent...
I figured I'd repost a comment, for it is pertinent, that I left under the previous installment of kooka's blog:
The self-vicitimzation behavior exhibited by many Christians, IMHO, is actually a continuation of the psychological trauma that their newfound spirituality, as Jesus intended it, is supposed to cure. In other words, Christians who see themselves as victims, or even proactively stir the pot so much that they provoke a reaction that feels like this to them, are Christians who are still having trouble getting beyond that.

Thanks. Gonna be good stuff, Vader an all. I remember when Star Wars 1V came out in '77. My uncle took me to see it. I was about I guess 3 yrs old but I'll never forget that experience, the main thing I remember was the audience was goin nuts.

I couldn't agree more
I find myself talking about and supporting the Church of Satan. Not because I'm a satanist, but because good or bad, it's a religion.
There are other religions out there other than Christianity! Unfortunately, there is no law against Christians who tell you "You are going to hell", but there is a law supporting the Freedom of Religion.

Skip Jesus...try Paul, he's really the father of the Evangalistic Chrisitans, and he wrote down a lot of those rules that were supposedly self-evident to the Jews, but had to be explained to the heathen that started joining the Church from all those other countries. One of my biggest questions was when was Paul talking (or writing) for God and when was he just expressing his opinion?

I not only get what you're saying, but I left Unicorn a comment earlier about that very thing. She was whining about how everyone's attacking her just because she's a Christian, so I said, "Not true! They're attacking you because of the negative things you've said about them." Besides that, I told her, we all nit pick at each other just like any biological family would. Nobody else goes off crying, do they? Just deal with it like a big girl, I told her. And I meant it.
