Son #3 came by the house a day ago looking like an egghead. He had just had his first summer haircut and all his thick curly mop was gone.

Re: CCT
Naut when we were little kids, away staying with an aunt we used to go to an old cottage and a German prisoner of war cut our hair. When we came home about three months later my father said he did not recognise us as he had never seen hair cuts like it.

Re:
BI haircuts are the least of my worry's, it will be back tomorrow. I suppose this is a form of conversation, only one does not have to respond immediately, and therefore can hopefully produce a more apt reply.

Re: Oh, my. A home-made haircut.
Pat well I have had worse haircuts and anyway I used to cut my own for years, and from what I can see, most cuts these days are just to have an half inch shortfall over. I am ahead of the times

so how come we get pictures of flowers which are very nice of course
but not of the haircut! I don't like conversation when I am busy landscaping the garden, working out a story or poem or looking for Gnomes and faeries!!

So it was haircut day at my house today, too! Jes cut Mik's for him! He had to decide between a razor cut or scissors cut! Arthur might have had a good ole time if he were doing a razor cut and you upset him in the least! LOL! You are wise to keep him jovial! And regarding the poem, there are time when I do not want company for I enjoy the solitude so very much! I would think you feel better with less hair and you saved a couple of bucks! sam
Christopher called yesterday and he said that he and Lindsey are coming to see me in July! I am so excited to see him! sam

I gave up on hair cuts some time ago - it seemed like a rather empty ritual. And since I do a little shaving anyway...LOL
And your 'conversational' poem strikes a familiar note, although I could not have sung it as well...

I think we all have times when conversation is not on our list of thins to do. Your flowers are lovely and hopefully you are pleased with your haircut.

Oh, my. A home-made haircut.
I used to cut the boys' hair until they got in school and decided mom's work wasn't up to par. Perhaps this coincided with the time when the buzz cut went out of fashion. As for conversation, today I'm not up to that either.
