Re: JimmyA

To tell you the truth, Wiley, I was certainly a fool that night, and was definitely drunk, but I never really considered myself to be a drunk. That night I was an easily-lead teenager following the crowd, and almost paid for it. I was never really much of a drinker then, and I'm really not much of a drinker now. Kudos to anyone who can walk away from that lifestyle and situation.

JimmyA

God looks out for fools and drunks. Now as a recovered drunk with 44 years of sobriety now,I can tell you this drunk lived that kind of story and survived too. AA works.LOL

Re: and I am sure that the miracle continued by the fact that you

Absolutely, Kabu. In fact, I've even gone so far as to stop drinking altogether! An occasional beer here, maybe a glass of wine there, but that's about it. I will never put myself . . . or anyone else . . . in that position ever again! Too scary, and life is much too short!

Re:

Well, Sam, I'd have to say that it was a very brave angel, to sit in that car with us! Never again!

Re:

That's a strong possibility, Butterfly. Especially after meeting my wife. I think that's why I was spared!

It was even scarier to go through, Bright! No more drinking and driving for me!

and I am sure that the miracle continued by the fact that you

had learned not to drink and drive and risk yours and other lives ever again. Wonderful post friend J.

A miracle indeed!  Glad you lived to tell about it. Sounds like God had a purpose for you?

I tend to agree that it was a marvelous miracle! An angel was looking over you in my humble opinion! sam

Butterfly 3 Yes, that was a miracle . Did it scare you enough to stop drinking and driving? I was scared just reading about that drive.

I agree that it's safe to call that a miracle as well...That was one heck of an experience there.
