- Go to Identification Should Be Required. Period.
You are absolutely right. Two things, however. First, I seriously doubt that any illegal immigrant will eventually return to their country of origin if they're denied certain rights by failing to provide identification. They'll just then go out of their way to acquire that identification, probably on the "black market." And secondly, the problem with illegal immigration in general is that it should have been addresed and gotten under control a loooong time ago! If there were only hundreds, we might have a shot. But there are now millions . . . and counting . . . and we only have so many fingers to plug up the dyke! Something had better be done soon, though!

When I voted in Maryland's primary elections all I did was show my sample ballot, and that was good enough never mind the fact that it looks easy to make one up or to steal a real one from a purpose. The powers that be need to be more sensible.
