I liked the poems! And I had a duck in my front yard one day last week! They are such a delight! sam

Tell Arthur I feel sorry for his life's disappointments, but he expresses them well...And the encounter between the Angel and the Damsel is heavenly...

Re: The theme today on NPR was the ten commandments
Pat I must admit I rather liked that angel, I suppose we cannot avoid the images that are thrust before us advertising perfection sometimes it makes one wonder.

Goosey came through the winter remarkably well and looks great.
I adore the Angel poem but I did get the giggles when I read Arthurs ditties although he is NOT the poet that you are.

The theme today on NPR was the ten commandments
and a lot of very deeply faithful members of synagogue and church trying to live the letter of the law, having special problems with adultery and licentious thought. I imagine your angel would be among those who studiously avoid lustful thoughts or observations of certain behaviors among those he's assigned to guard. Which makes the poem all the more remarkable. Again, you've mastered the wistful emotion. :)
The goose seems to be enjoying a fine day.

A lot of different themes today, I see. My favorite is the one with the angel...I'm liking the duck.
