I would agree with apathy. I lived in Maryland for 40 years before moving here to WV.

It seems more an more people don't bother to vote. And from what Kabu commented, the land "down under" has the best method of making sure people accept and act on their responsability.

an excellent post and dear friend, you will find that many of those that
complain the loudest, don't bother to vote.
In Australia voting is compulsory and there is a penalty if you don't vote.

FS not an uncommon situation sometimes people just wonder if it can get worse and really do not have a lot of respect for any candidate.
