Wonderful!  So glad it turned out that you can go and enjoy without worrying about the doggies.  Happy Easter.  Have a wonderful time.

Well I did not want to express my own doubts if you had been 23.When I mentioned it to Arthur. He said 'I would not even think about it,' "why is that?" I asked. He gave me a sad look. "There is nothing more miserable waiting for planes especially in the mornings and then having to adjust and endure eating a business meal, when all you want to do is crawl into bed and go to sleep.' Of course my thoughts were more in tract with your sense of liberty. I thought of you roaming the wilds with your doggies as apposed to sadly looking out of a window on your travels.

Thank you UtahJay

I know what you mean - have read more than one article about the dangers there. Still - am with a group of 10, so should be safe enough.

Thank you, Pat B.

I'll be with 2 of my favorite people in the whole world - my son & my daughter. I'm really looking forward to it now that the dogs are going to be ok.

And what did Arthur tell you, C.C.T.?

No, I've decided to refuse the job. After some deep thinking, I decided that I really didn't want to get back into that rat-race. My peace of mind wasn't worth it. Pictures you will get!!

It's crazy here right now, Justi.

Income tax time - and because I'm leaving for a week, clients seem to think it's for a year, and want everything done before I go! And yes, my boys will be in good hands so I intend to thoroughly enjoy myself, thank you!

And believe me, I am glad to be going too, Kabu!

I think it has been over 20 years since I've had a real vacation!! YIPPEE!!

I knew you especially would understand, Naut.

Actually, the kennel owners were doing it as a favor for my daughter, and had nowhere else to put my boys. Apparently the animals in their care are well treated but...I just couldn't do it.

Adnohr we never heard about your decision over the job offer, but I suppose this shakes it out. I did ask the opinion at the time from Arthur as he was a lecturer in different countries. I think a photo in a straw hat should be forthcoming.

Dear One

I am so happy how this all turned out. I have missed hearing from you much lately. I did not know of the vacation or the traumas. I agree totally one cannot leave their babies in the hands of an indifferent parent substitute. Now you can go and have the fun and rest your so greatly need. Do that and don't worry one minute, they are in good hands. We shall miss you but you so need this. Have FUN & REST! Be happy!

As I was reading I didn't think you would be able to leave the doggies and I don't blame you at all. It would have been as you said, get there, and turn around and come back! But, I am so elated that you are going to Mexico, you so need this one, too! Bon voyage and think tequila! LOL! sam

I am so glad that you are going and am expecting to read that

you are a sensation in those swimmers!!!!! have a great break away and I just know that the boys will be fine.

I know, I worry when we leave Graysome for a few days and although cats don't have the same needs as dogs...they need company and their routine, especially Graysome who is part dog anyway. But with friends who know dogs coming in and out, they will be happy fed and exercised properly. Smiling back atcha love.

I am very glad that things worked out for you in the end! I fully, completely, totally and absolutely (okay, those will do for now, LOL) understand that you could not have and would not have left your doggies at that horrible penitentiary, that sorry excuse for a kennel. Those people should be investigated...Anyway, I hope that you'll have a great tme in Mexico...
