Glad you agree, Sam. I believe that one of the things that upsets people the most is the greed of others. That's the basis of the whole "99% vs. 1%" debates. It doesn't have to be that way!

Well, Kabu, sometimes it's not so much taking something out of context as much as it might be leaving out key words or components of the quote "accidentally-on-purpose" to turn it into something else entirely. Yeah, it's easy to do . . . and dangerous!

See, FSI? I believe the difference is crucial to the understanding of that particular ideal, and more people should be made aware of it! That's why I titled this piece Know Your Quotes!

Believe it or not, Nautikos, although I did study the Bible as part of a Christian Brothers fellowship many, many moons ago, this is one of the few quotes that I had always retained, primarily because it was used so often, and was always misquoted! I thought that the point was important . . . thus the post!
