You would not be far off the mark if you said the contraption you bought sucks. But don't use that term when you lodge a complaint with the Consumer Protection Commission if you have one(we have one recently established in South Africa to protect consumers against retailers selling us junk from America and China).The answer you will get is, "that is what a vacuum cleaner is supposed to do. Suck!"

I made my own...
And while its not very snazzy or easy to use, it does get the lint that I can't get by hand. I'm still thinking of going Lizard.

Wiley the heavy duty chair lifter for the house contraption and put it in his Christmas stocking. It too works. most don't though.
