R By viewing numbers sir. But have your animals bring in more readers. The goats would be good at that one.  BC-A, Bill’sR®st

Re: oink, oink, lol..

Ray  I cannot do a piggy greeting with this speaker it keeps going I ink I ink. so I will have to use the oink, oink, oink. keyboard. Yes it is a shame that some people go to all the trouble of writing and yet are hesitant to just reply or to comment to another's post. I mean it need not be heavy, I always try to respond, but maybe some think I am too brash although I am a reserved person. Gosh I might get swamped with comments now,

packing my  suitcase.

Re:

Sam I just wondered , I never read the small print unless there are problems. Sometimes I feel like one of those slaves, one has to keep working and eventually become really fit and honed to perfection, if you are a one left standing. Good luck today with your moving, well your daughter is moving I know.

Re: well I never make a profit from Blogit so I don't think about the pay much

Kabu know I just book it in as an expense on my income tax form. Psychiatric treatment .

I could put the farming news on if you wish, I get a book every month, as I am a retired grower ,sadly I just pull the  cellophane cover off  and recycle it. Arthur was quite pleased with his hug he said he will  have to send you a poem.

Re: Sooner or later as we get comfy with Blogit and our friends here,

Pat thank you I always appreciate a reply from someone who has talent perhaps as we get older we accept those little idiosyncrasies which we felt were strange at one time. I will admit when I first came to blogit I thought there were some that I could not gel with but perhaps it is simply like two little boys who have a fight and then become friends.

Re:

Well thank you Justi I was just wondering why some budding writers become demoralised after putting some quite nice work forward, but I just thought of this idea one day, some people do not like poetical writing, but might like to know little things that go on as commonplace in a different country. Not as though we are much different really and of course I can put a flower in through the season and probably recycle some in the winter God willing.

This was a delightful post. You know I think mostly some people get paid by the number of friends they have who read them rather than the writing. I do it both ways. I read those I have become accustomed to reading for a long time. Others i can't wait to see what they said. i love how I get a double read on your post. A journal and a poetry post all for one click. I read you because I like your writing very much and because you have become one of my friends because of your writing. God bless you.

CCT

Delightful piggy poem we have a theatre in The Eastern Townships of Québec called The Piggery. I do remember the days of cold mornings with the stove going, we called them Jacket Heaters back then. Great post again old chap.

Sooner or later as we get comfy with Blogit and our friends here,

we get some insights into who they are, and I for one think how sweet it would be if we could gather round a table for snacks and a nice cuppa coffee, and put the faces with the stories. I love your piggy poem of practicality, and the eventual stand-up comic your hero becomes. Illustrated it would make a great comic (what they call graphic novels now) for grownups. Write on!

well I never make a profit from Blogit so I don't think about the pay much

I just love reading here and reading your Piggy poem today i know why i love this place. So much diversity in what one reads. Keep on keeping on and I look forward to flowers.

The stage it is for I think he would rather be there than in a skin for sausage, lol!

The payment can be a bit confusing but here goes: When we pay our subscription to Blogit, half that amount goes for payment to the people we read. For the sake of clarity say you paid $20 dollars per month to be be on Blogit; $10 dollars goes for the payment to the ones you read and $10 to Blogit. If you read sam444 10 times, Utahjay 10 times, Kabu 10 times, Wiley 10 times, and Adnohr 10 times, we would each receive 20% of the $10 dollars. Therefore sam444 would get $2, Utahjay $2, Kabu $2, Wiley $2 and Adnohr $2 for a total of $10 for that given month! When you look at the distribution of payment for writers it shows the percentage each person gets from what you read each month! You can find that information in My Account go to View Account Summary, to General Account Summary! I hope this helps!

And, I think you might be over doing it if you are feeling the tightness! A little bit everyday is what I have found to help ease myself back into the outdoor work! Take care of you! sam

oink, oink, lol..

feeling practical instead of poetical, hmm yes, that must explain my lack of words of late. I think we get our penny slivers based on page views, but I'm probably wrong. I have read some great stuff too but because the writers don't interact much, hardly any notice. Which is a shame but it is how things work here. I was bathed in a kitchen sink as an infant; got the pictures to prove it!..:) Entertaining read, CCT as always..
