- Go to Fun with Fatwas: Do I really need to wear my Pants at High Water?
This puts me in mind of those old black and white B westerns, all those cowboys had rolled up jeans.

"You can make yourself look very “stylin and profilin” while following the Sunnah if you put in a little bit of effort." So says MM→ guide. But then again I wouldn't know. I've never paid much attention to the rolling up of pants legs. I always dislike butt crack showing between pants and shirt.

why worry if he is such a poor student he ain't going to last long
in University anyway. perhaps rolled up pants would be a good idea anyway, what with all those sacred cows defecating any and everywhere!

Oh, dear. It is Allah's wish that a man look dorky?
So be it. Let it be said there are many on campus who are not observant of that particular fatwah. They wore jeans and graphic print tees when I worked for the housing office and became acquainted with a number of Persian students in the '70s.
