Those accountants can sure make tax time a bit too exciting. I wish you well with it.

Violet Parma? No wonder she was known as La Parmagiana, and everyone smacked their lips thinking of her...

Adnohr I don't know if the song exists but I might hear scraps of it if Violet feels in the mood. You know what these youngsters are like.

Re:
SAM no I should not think soldiers like drill after being on active service. Well I used to hate it when we had to go back for a fortnight each year to keep ready for action. I think they deserve a real good rest from that sort of experience.

Speaking of taxes, this year we actually get a return that is even bigger than what my accountant charges, last year we paid a handsome some to this broken down old bucket of a government.
I just wanted to take a line to Thank You so much for your kindness CC, it took the anger away and I needed that.

That was a charming post as usual. Chitterlings? You make those in Britain? They are made here too, not by me; nor eaten by me but they are delicacies some places.

I am with Adnohr, what a fun read! You are highly entertaining! I don't have to file taxes simply because of the way the Gov't has it set up for those on Social Security! I make enough to live on but not enough to qualify to pay taxes and it doesn't bother me in the least!
Christopher is at Drill this weekend and he said it not so good! Hopefully we find out if he will be deployed again! What a mess! I would think that the Gov't would catch on that it is not good to send soldiers back to war too frequently or too soon after a deployment! sam

A girl who's patient enough not to complain for 300 years might make a boy Gnome quite a congenial wife.

LMAO - that was so fun to read!!!And I learned more than one new word in this one. I would love to have to music to 'there's nothing like a canoodle in the moonlight'!! The title has caught my fancy - think I could sing that tune?
